Grigoryans LA ("ByGrigoryans," "we," "us," or "our") sells AWI timepieces through grigoryansla.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse, buy, or contact us, how we use it, and what control you have over it. Using our site means you're okay with what's described here.
Who's responsible for your data
Grigoryans LA is the business that decides how your information is handled.
- Store: 640 S Hill Street, Suite 557, Los Angeles, CA 90014
- Phone: (747) 488-1621
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00am–5:00pm
Reach us through any of the above for anything privacy-related, or use the contact form at grigoryansla.com/pages/contact.
What we collect
Most of what we hold, you gave us directly — when you place an order, sign up for the newsletter, ask a question, request a recommendation, or enter a giveaway. That can include:
- Name, gender, and date of birth
- Shipping and billing addresses
- Email address and phone number
- Payment card details (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us)
- Order history, returns, and engraving or gift-packaging requests
- Style preferences and anything you tell us about what you're looking for
- IP address and device information
We also log when the information was given and when it was updated.
Please don't send us sensitive information we haven't asked for — Social Security numbers, health details, racial or ethnic background, political or religious views, or anything about your criminal record. If you're under 16, a parent or guardian has to give permission before you share personal information with us, and we may ask for proof of that permission.
Preferences and purchase history
We keep track of what you've bought, when, and whether anything came back to us. If you answer a survey, leave a review, file a complaint, or tell us which dials you like, that goes into your record too — it's how we make recommendations that actually fit.
Cookies and tracking
When you visit, cookies and similar tools may record your IP address, browser and operating system, screen size, device type, and how you move through the site. Some of this comes through third-party services we use for analytics, ads, and site performance. Much of it can't identify you personally. Details are in our Cookie Policy, and where a third party is involved, we suggest reading theirs as well.
Why we use your information
To fulfill your order. Processing payment, arranging insured shipping, handling returns, repairs, warranty claims, in-store pickup, and bookkeeping. Without this information we can't complete a sale.
With your permission. Sending our newsletter, promotions, and giveaway announcements; answering your questions; following up on customer service; connecting with you on social platforms. You can withdraw permission whenever you want (see "Your choices" below).
Because it's reasonable for running a business. Analyzing sales patterns, improving the site, testing new products, measuring whether our campaigns work, and sending you occasional information about pieces we think you'd like. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Because the law requires it. Tax records, accounting obligations, and responses to lawful requests from government or regulatory bodies.
To protect ourselves and you. Enforcing our terms, preventing fraud, defending legal claims, and safeguarding the rights, safety, and property of our customers and our business.
Who else sees it
We share information with service providers who work on our behalf — payment processors, shipping and delivery carriers, our e-commerce platform and hosting provider, email marketing tools, fraud screening, repair partners, and customer support software. They may only use it to do the job we've hired them for. They're contractually required to keep it confidential and protect it.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when a court or authority demands it, or if the business is sold, merged, restructured, or transferred — in which case it stays confidential through the process.
We don't sell your personal information.
Keep in mind that anything you post publicly — comments, tagged photos, reviews, social media posts — isn't private anymore and can be seen by anyone.
Information moving across borders
Some of our partners and systems operate outside the United States, including in Armenia and the European Union, so your information may be transferred and stored abroad. When that happens, we use contractual safeguards designed to keep the level of protection consistent wherever the data sits.
How long we keep it
We hold your information only as long as it's needed for the purposes above — generally no more than three years after your last interaction with us — unless a longer period is required by tax, accounting, or other law.
How we protect it
We use technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, and only the people who need your information to do their job can reach it. Checkout on grigoryansla.com runs over SSL encryption. That said, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't promise absolute safety. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we'll notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it
- Limit how we use it
- Receive it in a portable format
- Object to marketing at any time, no reason needed
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any message. For anything else, contact us by phone at (747) 488-1621 during business hours, through the form at grigoryansla.com/pages/contact, or by mail at the address above. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, and we'll respond as quickly as we can. Exercising these rights costs nothing and won't affect the service you get from us.
If you're in California, you also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. If you believe we've mishandled your information, you may file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Links to other sites
Our site links out to other businesses and platforms. This policy doesn't cover them, and we're not responsible for how they collect or use information. When you pay, you'll interact with our payment provider's systems; when you track a shipment, you'll interact with the carrier's. Each operates under its own privacy and cookie policies, and we recommend reading them.
